FAQ
How do you prepare for a session?
The first thing, is you must pick the photographer in which you feel most connected and comfortable with. I highly encourage you to take time to review my portfolio and ask questions - my inbox is always available.
From there, it becomes a conversation between yourself and me where we can discuss, further your goals and expectations from the session. Including details on special occasions, people, or sentimental items you may want in or to be express through those photos. We can discuss location , even details down to outfit help for said location. Leave the poses to me, Come ready to laugh, smile and play in the here and now.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am a born and raised PNW resident. Most of my clients are in the Greater Seattle Area.
I love to travel and would be willing to take those opportunities. It would be a discussion between us about location, time and those fine details if you would like me to photograph your story. Depending on location, this may require a travelers fee. But no worries, I will always try to find the cheapest way to come because I love the way my creativity is challenged in new locations; the background may change, the people still hold the story, and that is where we make the magic to come alive!
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos -- In general my turnaround is about 4 weeks for a typical photoshoot; with a maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season) I take my time to give you the best product! A few sneak peeks are usually returned in the first few weeks, I, too, share that excitement- Patience is a virtue. The hardest one to render. Once your gallery is finished, you will have full access to HR downloads to share digitally at your ease.
How many pictures will we receive?
SHORT ANSWER: It would depend upon the session.
LONG ANSWER: Each session has a different goal in mind, based on time and goals there will be a different yield of photos. My goal as a photographer is to capture the moments, freeze time and allow the memory to become embodied physically to hold. That may come in the form of more photos to express those memories.
For example a 2 hour portrait session, would yield around 25 high quality photos. Each consisting of uniquely you. The more time we can spend together the more relaxed and nature it can feel to be in front of a camera. You are none like the rest. It is the quality here that is of utmost importance to capture, but I'll do my best to give you many angles to see the whole beauty within.
Whereas, a Mini session will yield around 10 core photos. See more details on portrait packages under 'investment' where we can customize a package for you if one of the recommended packages does not meet your needs.
